Wardah Naeem Bukhari, a versatile visual & performance artist, was born in Multan, Pakistan. She earned her Bachelors of Graphic Design from the Multan College of Arts, Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan (2010) and completed her Masters in Visual Arts from the National College of Arts, Lahore (2012). She is the youngest Ph.D. Scholar in Art History from University of Punjab, PUCAD, Lahore (2013 to till). She continues her studio practice while teaching as visiting lecturer at Bahauddin Zakariya University in Multan and in Lahore Campus 2014-15.

Bukhari working in various mediums i.e. drawing, painting, sculpture, installation, photography, video and digital art and performance art. Her work is to recreate the existing image through new visual language by including different subject maters from craft to aesthetics, history to myth, tradition to new media arts and religion to politics.

She is bestowed for the "Best Artist of 2017 Award by Alhamrah Arts Council, Lahore. Bukhari was guest curator of studioBQ Artist-In-Residence-Program (2015). She was selected in International Artist-In-Residence-Program in Arizona, United States (2016). She was also invited for Artist Talk at South Asian Women Collective, New York (2016). Bukhari has also a deep interest in writing about art and she is co-writer of two articles were published by the Oxford Companion to Pakistani Art (2014). Bukhari has done two solo exhibitions in Lahore and participated in several group exhibitions nationally and internationally. She has participated in two prestigious international art events called "Biennale" (2017) (2018).
